Athena acts to promote women’s sports in ten preferred sports and the two champion sports (football and basketball), according to the Public Committee headed by Zvi Lubezki and the Sports Administration, in coordination with the Israel Olympic Committee.
In these sports, Athena’s Field Coordinators create the professional foundation for expanding and intensifying women’s activities, creating opportunities, and promoting the competitive achievements of female athletes.
